Identification of population groups at risk of poverty

In the initial phase of CHANCE the research will strive to identify the population groups at risk of poverty in Europe. Their psycho-social barriers to healthy eating as well as barriers related to agro-food industry and the retailer sector will also be identified. Possible ways to overcome the barriers will be explored.

Vaiva Hendrixson is Female Associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University. Her research interests include influence of metabolism and nutrition on ethiopathogenetic factors of chronic non-infectious diseases. She has coordinated several scientific projects.
